My students keep me young—or at least convinced I might be. There’s no better place to bring the old back to life than in the company of bright, questioning minds. They grow, they change, and they challenge me with perspectives I’d never dare invent on my own. And nothing keeps you honest quite like performing in front of—or alongside—the very people you teach. But the greatest joy is when those players stand beside me as trusted colleagues; it’s like watching a story you’ve written start answering back.
